This 110,000 square foot Luxury Storage facility (90,000 self-storage 20,000 vehicle storage) delivers state-of-the-art PTI security, music, and access control technologies.
Solon Self Storage is one of the few facilities in the state of Ohio featuring an access-controlled wine cellar for customers to store their exquisite private wine collections under the strictest of climate-controlled conditions.
Solon Storage required the absolute best in access control to assure clients that their valued belongings would be completely safe and secure. To accomplish this, our team worked in conjunction with the owners to select the PTI DoorBoss overlock system. This technology enables clients to lock and unlock their units from their mobile device’s convenience and view all in and out history activity specific to their personal units. Offering individual access control to the wine cellar was also required. We helped ensure consistent climate control by setting up systems to alert the office computers if wine cellar doors are open for too long a period.
With the well-thought-out design layout and systems chosen for this project, the Managers and Owners can utilize their phones to not only view the camera system but see the individual lock status of every single lock in their facility.
Through PTI’s Easy Code Mobile app, tenants can use a touchless entry experience at all control points, whether it be their unit or into the roll-up door with their vehicles. Intercoms are conveniently located throughout the facility for easy communication to the site managers.
