Public Storage requires that all access control installations look, feel and operate the same across their entire United States portfolio.

Public Storage has an exacting standard for their installations, and when they upgrade their access control-related technologies, these changes affect their entire 2400+ facilities across the United States. With Access Control Technologies’ multi-state operation and our exacting standards, it makes for a perfect partnership. This is why we are one of Public Storages’ most prolific access control vendors.

Public Storage utilizes the OpenTech/CIA Access Control Platform. When installed and configured properly, this platform is cloud-based and gives their team intelligence into what is happening daily across their regions. Across the United States, we install their keypads, gates, gate controllers, and self-service kiosks.

As the world has changed, so has Public Storage, spearheading an initiative for contactless service and rentals in conjunction with the OpenTech Kiosk. At the tip of that spear has been the team from Access Control Technologies, installing the first kiosks for Public Storage and continuing to upgrade Public Storage sites across the country with this cutting-edge technology.
